Peacock
Hi,
This is my latest work. I did this hand embroidery peacock recently.
This is my first try with Zari & Silk threads.
I used silk thread, Zari thread and cotton thread for this work.
Stitches are Chain stitch, Back stitch, Satin stitch, Lavangam stitch and net work.
I felt little difficult working with zari thread. Somewhat I managed.
Hope you like it.

My Own Designer Dupatta - 2
I bought this cotton salwar material from Chennai. Top & bottom materials were fully designed with mango motifs and small flower motifs in maroon and orange cotton thread. Dupatta was plain with beautiful border.
So I did some small motifs.Whatever stitches were in the dress I did same. One is running stitch and in the middle i did single Double Knot Stitch/Palestrina Stitch using orange colour thread. Now its looking good.
Dupatta before doing embroidery.
After doing Embroidery. Small motifs here and there.

My own designer dupatta 1
Hi friends,
How are you?
This dupatta is designed by me.
I bought a purple cotton Kurti material to match with white patiala pant, but I couldn't find a matching dupatta. I was not interested to go for a white dupatta.
So thought to design a dupatta.
So I bought plain white cotton material and requested tailor to stitch the remaining kurti material on four sides of the white dupatta really he did a good job. But Inside it was fully plain. So I planned to do some embroidery and patch work. From that remaining cloth i cut some circles and using hemming stitch just did the patchwork ( circles ) and did running stitch to connect the circles.
Here and there I did some spiral designs with chain stitche .
Finally I got a beautiful designer dupatta ( Isn't it beautiful?).

Embroidery motifs
Hi friends,
I did this embroidery some time back.
This is my old cotton salwar. Its full of thread work with small circles in gold thread.
I though to give a new look to it, so did some simple flower motifs using anchor cotton thread.
Hope you like it.
Top before embroidery.
